Menorcasta refers to the cultural and linguistic phenomenon observed in Menorca, one of the Balearic Islands in Spain. The term is derived from the island’s unique blend of Catalan and Spanish influences, shaped by historical, social, and geographical factors. Unlike other regions of Catalonia, where Catalan is the dominant language, Menorca has experienced a distinct linguistic evolution due to its isolation and historical connections with both the Crown of Aragon and later Spain.

The island’s cultural identity, often termed "menorcain," reflects a mix of Catalan traditions with Spanish elements, particularly in language, cuisine, and customs. While Catalan remains the primary spoken language, Spanish has had a significant impact, leading to a dialect known as *menorquín*, which incorporates Spanish vocabulary and pronunciation.
