Megghe

Megghe is a genus of extinct marine reptiles belonging to the order Plesiosauria. These creatures lived during the Early Jurassic period, approximately 200 to 174 million years ago. Megghe fossils have been primarily found in Europe, with significant discoveries in England and Germany.

The genus Megghe is characterized by its relatively short neck compared to other pliosaurs, a group of plesiosaurs known for their stout bodies and powerful limbs.
