Meadowrues
Meadowrues are a genus of herbaceous plants in the family Ranunculaceae, scientifically known as Thalictrum. These plants are found in temperate regions across the Northern Hemisphere, often growing in meadows, woodlands, and along streambanks. Meadowrues are characterized by their delicate, often finely divided foliage, which can resemble that of columbine or rue. The leaves are typically compound, with leaflets that are usually lobed or toothed.
The flowers of meadowrues are a prominent feature, though they are often small and lack conspicuous petals.
There are many species within the Thalictrum genus, with variations in size, leaf structure, and flower color.
