Materialphase
Materialphase, also known as phase of matter, refers to the distinct physical states that matter can exist in. These phases are characterized by different physical properties such as density, viscosity, and compressibility. The four most common materialphases are solid, liquid, gas, and plasma. Each phase represents a unique arrangement of molecules or atoms.
In the solid phase, particles are closely packed and vibrate in place, giving solids their definite shape
Further heating a liquid increases the kinetic energy of its particles, causing them to spread out and
Transitions between materialphases occur due to changes in temperature or pressure. For example, water can exist
