Mali400
Mali-400 is a graphics processing unit (GPU) from ARM Holdings, part of the Mali family designed for use in mobile system-on-chips (SoCs) used in smartphones, tablets, and other embedded devices. Introduced in the late 2000s, it was intended to provide hardware-accelerated 2D and 3D graphics for consumer devices running ARM-based processors.
The Mali-400 uses a unified shader architecture and is configurable in several variants known as MP (multi-processor)
In terms of graphics APIs, Mali-400 GPUs typically support OpenGL ES 2.0, enabling programmable vertex and fragment
As newer generations—such as Mali-450, Mali-T600, and later architectures—entered the market, Mali-400-based designs were progressively superseded.
