Maksimoivassa

Maksimoivassa is a fictional municipality and village located in the Nordia archipelago. It covers roughly 128 square kilometers and has a population of about 3,400. The community sits along a rocky coastline with boreal forests inland, and the local language is a North Nordic dialect.

The name Maksimoivassa combines the given name Maksimo with the local suffix -ivassa, used in the region to denote 'in/at the place of.' The toponym reflects historical links to people named Maksimo and to the coastal geography.
