Maksamiseksi
Maksamiseksi is a Finnish grammatical form used to express purpose in relation to paying. It is formed from the noun maksaminen (the act of paying) with the translative suffix -ksi. The translative often conveys purpose, function, or a move toward a state, so maksamiseksi literally means “for payment” or “in order to pay.” The form appears mainly in formal or official language, such as contracts, guidelines, and administrative texts, where the intent of an action or provision is stated clearly.
Maksamiseksi is used to indicate that a given action, provision, or arrangement serves the purpose of paying.
- Maksamiseksi varattu raha (funds set aside for payment)
