Maitokanavasyöpä, also known as invasive ductal carcinoma, is the most common type of breast cancer. It originates in the milk ducts, which are the channels that carry milk from the lobules to the nipple. When the cancer cells break through the wall of the milk duct and invade the surrounding breast tissue, it is classified as invasive.
