Maitestus

Maitestus is a genus of spiders in the family Linyphiidae. The genus was described by Jocqué in 1980. Maitestus spiders have been found in Africa, specifically in South Africa.

The spiders in this genus are generally small to medium-sized. They have been found in a variety of habitats, including forests and grasslands. The web-spinning habits of these spiders are relatively unknown, but it is assumed that they spin irregular web or no web at all.
