Maiselles
Maiselles, also known as French corn salad or lamb's lettuce, is a mild-tasting leafy green vegetable. It is an annual plant that typically grows in cool weather and is native to Europe and Western Asia. The leaves are small, tender, and often spoon-shaped, with a slightly nutty and sweet flavor. Maiselles are commonly used in salads, often mixed with other greens, and can also be lightly sautéed or wilted. They are a good source of vitamin C and some minerals.
The plant thrives in well-drained soil and partial shade, and can be grown in gardens or commercially.
