Magnemite

Magnemite is a small, spherical Pokémon with a metallic body. It is characterized by its three magnets, one on each side and one on top, which it uses for levitation and attack. Magnemite is known to emit strong magnetic fields and can disrupt electronic devices. They are often found in power plants and areas with high electrical activity.

Magnemite evolves into Magneton starting at level 30. Magneton is an evolution of Magnemite that consists of three Magnemite fused together. This fusion creates a more powerful magnetic field and a stronger electrical output. Magneton, in turn, can evolve into Magnezone when leveled up in areas with a special magnetic field, such as Mt. Coronet.

The primary ability of Magnemite is its electromagnetism. It can generate and manipulate magnetic fields, which it uses for various purposes including defense and offense. These magnetic fields can repel metal objects or attract them. Magnemite can also discharge electricity, often in conjunction with its magnetic abilities. Its signature move, Thunderbolt, is a powerful electric-type attack.

Magnemite's body is composed of metal, giving it resistance to certain types of attacks. However, it is vulnerable to ground-type moves, as they can disrupt its magnetic levitation. Despite its metallic nature, Magnemite is not known to rust. It seems to have a unique internal system that prevents corrosion.

In the anime and games, Magnemite are often depicted as docile unless provoked. They are attracted to electricity and can sometimes be found in large swarms, especially near sources of power. Their presence can sometimes cause power outages due to their strong electromagnetic fields.
