Macugnaga
Macugnaga is a municipality in the province of Verbano-Cusio-Ossola in the Italian region Piedmont, located about 120 kilometers (75 miles) northeast of Turin and about 40 kilometers (25 miles) northwest of Verbania. It lies in the easternmost part of the Alps, in the upper Anzasca Valley, at the foot of Monte Rosa, the second highest peak in the Western Alps.
