Maastikutüübid refers to the classification of different types of landscapes or terrains. This categorization helps in understanding the physical characteristics of an area, its formation processes, and its suitability for various human activities. Geological maastikutüübid include mountains, plains, plateaus, hills, valleys, and coastlines. Mountains are characterized by significant elevation and steep slopes, often formed by tectonic activity or erosion.
