The M561, commonly known as the Gama Goat, is a six-wheel-drive, articulated, amphibious cargo truck developed by the United States Army. Its distinctive articulated design allows it to traverse extremely rough terrain and cross bodies of water. The M561 was designed to replace older, less capable tactical trucks and to provide a highly mobile supply vehicle for forward deployed troops.
