The M561, commonly known as the Gamma Goat, is a six-wheel-drive, tactical truck produced by the United States Army. It was developed in the 1960s to provide a highly mobile and versatile transport vehicle capable of operating in diverse and challenging terrain. The M561's distinctive articulation system, which allows the front and rear sections to pivot independently, gives it exceptional off-road capability. This design permits it to traverse obstacles, steep inclines, and soft ground that would typically immobilize conventional vehicles.
