Lämpöpalautusilmanvaihto, often abbreviated as LTO, is a ventilation system commonly used in residential and commercial buildings in Finland. It refers to a mechanical ventilation system that recovers heat from the outgoing stale air and transfers it to the incoming fresh air. This process significantly reduces the energy required to heat the fresh air, leading to substantial energy savings.

The core components of an LTO system include supply and exhaust fans, an air-to-air heat exchanger, and filters.
