The primary characteristic of lämpöliimat is their rapid setting time. Once the molten adhesive cools, it forms a bond almost immediately, making them ideal for applications requiring quick assembly or production speeds. The bond strength can vary significantly depending on the specific type of polymer used, with common base materials including ethylene-vinyl acetate (EVA), polyolefins, polyamides, and polyurethanes.
