Lymfedemasta
Lymfedemasta, often referred to as lymphedema, is a chronic condition characterized by swelling caused by a buildup of lymph fluid in the body. The lymphatic system is a network of vessels and nodes that helps filter waste and fluid from tissues. When this system is damaged or blocked, lymph fluid cannot drain properly, leading to accumulation in the affected area.
There are two primary types of lymphedema. Primary lymphedema is a rare, inherited condition caused by abnormalities
Symptoms of lymphedema include swelling, which may be accompanied by a feeling of heaviness, tightness, or discomfort
Diagnosis is typically made through a physical examination and medical history. Imaging tests, such as lymphoscintigraphy
