Lvuosuch
Lvuosuch is a genus of extinct crocodylomorph that lived during the Early Cretaceous period in what is now Morocco. Fossil remains of Lvuosuch were discovered in the Kem Kem Beds, a geological formation renowned for its rich assemblage of fossilized animals, including dinosaurs and other reptiles. The genus name, Lvuosuch, is derived from the Amazigh word for "water crocodile," reflecting its probable semi-aquatic lifestyle.
Lvuosuch is classified within the Notosuchia, a diverse group of crocodylomorphs characterized by various cranial adaptations.
The discovery of Lvuosuch contributes to our understanding of crocodylomorph evolution and paleobiodiversity in North Africa
