Luustotulehduksen, also known as dental abscess, is a serious condition characterized by the formation of a pus-filled pocket within the tooth or surrounding tissues. This occurs when bacteria infect the pulp of the tooth, leading to inflammation and the eventual formation of an abscess. The infection can spread to the surrounding tissues, including the jawbone, and may cause significant pain and swelling.
