Lubavitchers
Lubavitchers, also known as Chabad Lubavitch or simply Chabad, are adherents of a Hasidic Jewish movement. The movement originated in the late 18th century in the town of Lubavitch, now in Russia. Lubavitch is the seventh and longest-lasting Hasidic dynasty. The name "Chabad" is an acronym for the Hebrew words chochmah (wisdom), binah (understanding), and da'at (knowledge), representing a philosophy of attaining closeness to God through intellectual contemplation of His oneness.
