Lovelyz

Lovelyz is a South Korean girl group formed by Woollim Entertainment in 2016. The group consists of seven members: Jeongyeon, Jinsoul, Jiyoon, Jihyun, Chae-young, Hyein, and Yejin. Lovelyz gained popularity through their participation in the survival show Sixteen, where they emerged as one of the final groups to debut under the label.

The group made their official debut on August 22, 2016, with the release of their first extended play (EP), Hello, featuring the lead single "Mr. Chu." Their music blends pop, hip-hop, and electronic influences, often incorporating catchy melodies and polished production. Lovelyz quickly rose to prominence with hits like "Love & Letters" (2017), which became their signature song, and "Alright" (2018), showcasing their versatility in both K-pop and English-language tracks.

Lovelyz has released several albums, including Wanna Be (2017), Lovelyz in Wonderland (2018), and Lovelyz in Time (2019), each featuring a mix of upbeat and reflective songs. They have also collaborated with other artists, such as Red Velvet’s Wendy, for the track "Love & Love," further expanding their fanbase.

Beyond music, Lovelyz is known for their strong stage presence, harmonies, and fan engagement. They have won numerous awards, including at the Golden Disc Awards and Mnet Asian Music Awards, solidifying their place in the K-pop industry. The group continues to evolve artistically while maintaining a dedicated fanbase known as "Lovelyzers."
