Chaeyoung

Chaeyoung, born Park Chaeyoung on May 23, 1999, is a South Korean singer, rapper, and lyricist. She is a member of Twice, a girl group formed by JYP Entertainment through the 2015 reality program Sixteen. In Twice, Chaeyoung is one of the group’s main rappers and contributes to songwriting and other creative processes.

Chaeyoung began training with JYP Entertainment prior to her appearance on Sixteen, and she debuted with Twice in 2015 with the EP The Story Begins. Since then, she has participated in the group’s songwriting and has been involved in multiple hit releases, touring, and television appearances.

In addition to her music career, Chaeyoung is known for her interest in visual art; she paints and shares drawings with fans, and has discussed her creative process in interviews and on social media.

Chaeyoung’s work as part of Twice has contributed to the group’s popularity in South Korea and internationally. She continues to perform, record, and contribute to the group’s artistic output.
