Louxor

Louxor, commonly spelled Luxor, is a city in southern Egypt located on the Nile River. It is the capital of Luxor Governorate and a major center for archaeology and tourism. The variant Louxor represents an alternate transliteration of the same name; in standard English usage the city is usually called Luxor.
