Common lokalinställningar include the chosen language for the operating system and applications, the date and time format (e.g., MM/DD/YYYY vs. DD/MM/YYYY), the number format (e.g., using a comma or a period as a decimal separator), currency symbols and their placement, and sorting conventions for text. They also affect units of measurement, such as Celsius versus Fahrenheit for temperature or metric versus imperial for distance.
