Ljustransmittanta, often abbreviated as transmittance, is a dimensionless quantity that describes the fraction of incident light that passes through a material. It is typically expressed as a value between 0 and 1, or as a percentage ranging from 0% to 100%. A transmittance of 1 (or 100%) indicates that all incident light passes through the material, while a transmittance of 0 (or 0%) means that no light is transmitted.
