Liverbecome
Liverbecome is a term used to describe the process by which a liver transplant recipient's own liver cells, rather than the transplanted organ, begin to function. This phenomenon is often observed in cases where the transplanted liver is rejected by the recipient's immune system. When this occurs, the recipient's own liver cells, which are not recognized as foreign by the immune system, can start to regenerate and take over some of the functions of the transplanted liver.
