Lisävärivarastot, meaning "additional color stores" in Finnish, refers to a concept primarily associated with printing and graphic design. In the context of color reproduction, especially in offset printing, standard printing processes typically utilize a CMYK (cyan, magenta, yellow, black) color model. This model can produce a wide range of colors, but it has limitations in accurately reproducing certain specific shades, particularly vibrant neons, deep metallic colors, or precise brand-specific hues.

Lisävärivarastot are additional ink colors, beyond the standard CMYK set, that are used in a printing job. These extra inks are pre-mixed to achieve specific color targets that cannot be accurately or efficiently reproduced with CMYK alone. Common examples include spot colors like Pantone colors, which are standardized systems for identifying and matching colors. Using lisävärivarastot allows for greater color accuracy, enhanced visual impact, and the ability to match brand colors precisely.

The implementation of lisävärivarastot requires specialized printing equipment capable of handling more than four ink units.
