Liesberg
Liesberg is a small municipality in the district of Basel-Landschaft in Switzerland. It lies in the Jura region, surrounded by the Breisgau mountains and the small Lörrach Valley. The area covers roughly 6.5 square kilometres and, as of the latest census, has a population of about 850 residents. The community is primarily German-speaking and exhibits many typical features of rural Swiss municipalities, including a local council that handles municipal affairs.
