Lethenian is the demonym used for the inhabitants of Lethenia, a maritime region consisting of a central island and several surrounding islets in the northern seas of the fictional continent of Asteros. In worldbuilding and related fiction, Lethenian denotes both a people and the cultural milieu they are depicted as possessing.

Origin and naming: The term Lethenia and the ethnonym Lethenian appear in in-world chronicles and field guides as ancient designations, with variations across dialects. The Lethenian language is commonly described as the community’s primary tongue, while outsiders sometimes refer to the people by the island names of origin.
