Ledebåndsskaden
Ledebåndsskaden, often referred to as a sprain or strain in English, describes an injury to a ligament. Ligaments are strong, fibrous bands of connective tissue that connect bones to other bones, providing stability to joints. When a joint is forced beyond its normal range of motion, these ligaments can be stretched or torn.
