Landdistrikterne

Landdistrikterne is a Danish term describing the country’s rural districts—areas outside the major urban centers, including countryside landscapes, villages and small towns. In planning and policy discussions, landdistrikterne are treated as a distinct spatial category with particular demographic, economic and infrastructural characteristics.
