Laiturihyökkääjien

Laiturihyökkääjien, a Finnish term, translates to "wing forwards" or "wing attackers" in English. This refers to a position in team sports, most commonly ice hockey and football (soccer). In these sports, laiturihyökkääjien are offensive players who primarily operate along the sides of the playing area, near the boards or sidelines. Their role is to create scoring opportunities by attacking from the flanks, crossing the ball into the center, or taking shots themselves.

In ice hockey, wingers are typically positioned on either the left or right side of the forward line. They work with the center to control the puck, carry it into the offensive zone, and generate offense.
