Lagari
Lagari refers primarily to Lagari Hasan Çelebi, a figure in Ottoman folklore described as a pioneer of rocketry. According to legends recorded in later centuries, in 1633 he launched a rocket-propelled vessel from Istanbul and returned safely, purportedly carrying an emblem of the Ottoman state to prove the flight.
