Lackzusammensetzung refers to the chemical makeup of paints and coatings. Understanding this composition is crucial for determining a coating's properties, performance, and intended application. A typical paint or varnish consists of several key components. The binder, often a polymer resin, forms the film and adheres the other components to the substrate. It dictates many of the coating's characteristics like flexibility, hardness, and resistance to chemicals and weathering. Pigments provide color and opacity, scattering and absorbing light.
