The L'Oréal-UNESCO For Women in Science program is a global initiative aimed at recognizing and supporting women pursuing careers in science. Established in 1998, it seeks to address the underrepresentation of women in scientific fields and promote gender equality. The program is a partnership between the cosmetics company L'Oréal and the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO).
