LEZs
LEZs, or Low Emission Zones, are designated areas within cities where restrictions are placed on certain types of vehicles to improve air quality. These zones are implemented to reduce the concentration of harmful pollutants like nitrogen oxides (NOx) and particulate matter (PM) that are emitted by vehicles. Typically, vehicles that do not meet specific emission standards are either prohibited from entering the zone or are subject to charges.
