LEDvideo
LEDvideo refers to video displays built from light-emitting diodes arranged in a matrix to reproduce full-color images. LED video walls are used indoors and outdoors for advertising, stadium displays, stage productions, broadcast backgrounds, and control rooms. Each LED is a basic pixel, often arranged in arrays on modules; modules snap into cabinets to form a larger display. Pixel pitch, the distance between adjacent pixels, determines resolution and viewing distance; smaller pitches provide sharper images at closer ranges. LED displays use either surface-mount device (SMD) packages, which group red, green, and blue emitters, or traditional DIP packages for rugged outdoor use.
