LCD projektoritel, often referred to as LCD projectors, are a type of video projector that uses liquid crystal display (LCD) technology to display images. These projectors work by passing light from a bright lamp through three polarizing filters, each representing a primary color: red, green, and blue. These filters are connected to a liquid crystal panel. By applying different electrical voltages to the liquid crystals, their alignment can be changed, which in turn controls how much light passes through each color filter. The light then passes through a prism that combines the three colored images into a single full-color image, which is then projected onto a screen.

LCD projectors are known for their bright and vibrant colors, making them suitable for various applications including home theater, business presentations, and educational settings. They tend to be relatively affordable compared to some other projector technologies, and generally offer good brightness levels for their price point. While they can sometimes exhibit a "screen door effect" (visible pixel grid) in lower resolutions, advancements in technology have significantly reduced this issue in modern units. Maintenance typically involves cleaning or replacing the air filter and the lamp, which has a finite lifespan.
