Kyodo News, officially Kyodo News Service, known in Japanese as Kyōdō Tsūshinsha (共同通信社), is a Japanese news agency. It functions as a nonprofit cooperative owned by its member newspapers, radio and television networks, and other media outlets. Kyodo collects, produces, and distributes domestic and international news, photographs, and video to its members and subscribers, and also operates an English-language news service and multimedia products.
