Kylmäportaalit, often translated as "cold portals" or "ice gateways," are a speculative concept found in various forms of science fiction and fantasy literature, as well as some pseudoscientific theories. They are generally depicted as artificial or naturally occurring phenomena that allow instantaneous or near-instantaneous travel between two spatially separated points. The defining characteristic of a kylmäportaali is the extreme cold associated with its activation or presence.

These portals are not grounded in current scientific understanding. Theories surrounding their hypothetical existence often draw upon concepts like wormholes, quantum entanglement, or exotic matter.
