Kvartsajamõõteseadmed

Kvartsajamõõteseadmed, often referred to as quartz clocks or watches, are timekeeping devices that utilize a quartz crystal to regulate their operation. The fundamental principle behind these devices is the piezoelectric effect exhibited by quartz. When an electric voltage is applied to a quartz crystal, it vibrates at a very precise and stable frequency. This frequency is typically 32,768 Hz.

Inside a kvartsajamõõteseadmed, an electronic circuit counts these vibrations. After counting 32,768 oscillations, the circuit generates a pulse. This pulse is then used to drive a small electric motor, which in turn moves the hands of an analog clock or advances the display of a digital clock. This consistent counting mechanism ensures a high degree of accuracy.
