Kumeja is a fictional coastal city-state depicted in speculative fiction and role-playing settings. The name is often traced to the Kumeji language, where it is said to mean 'bright harbor.'

Situated on a natural harbor at the mouth of the Tali River, the city is described as a dense urban core surrounded by farmland and mangrove belts. The climate is temperate, with oceanic influences producing mild winters and warm summers.
