Kullanilanlarla

Kullanilanlarla is a Turkish grammatical form that expresses accompaniment or comparison with things that are used. It is a postpositional construction formed by combining the passive participle kullanilan (used) with the plural suffix -lar and the instrumental suffix -la, yielding the sequence used-to-be plural plus with. In practice, the form appears as a postpositional phrase after a noun or pronoun to indicate “with those that are used” or “together with the used ones.”

Morphology and function. The base is kullanilan, meaning “that are used.” Adding the plural suffix gives kullanilanlar (the ones that are used). Attaching the instrumental suffix -la (often written as -larla when the two suffixes are combined) yields kullanilanlarla, a phrase meaning “with those that are used.” This form inherits Turkish vowel harmony and consonant rules, and it operates on the same syntactic level as other postpositions in Turkish, typically following the noun it relates to and preceding the rest of the clause in function as a complement or adjunct.

Usage and examples. Kullanilanlarla commonly appears in formal or technical Turkish, especially in linguistic or methodological discussions. Examples include: Ürünleri kullanilanlarla karşılaştırırsak sonuçlar değişir (If we compare the products with those that are used, the results change). Kullanilanlarla ilgili bilgiler sunuldu (Information about the used ones was presented). In many contexts, the simpler ile or with-phrase can also convey the meaning, but kullanilanlarla provides a specific reference to the previously used set.
