Kredittasolle is a neologism used in discussions of credit markets to describe a proposed mechanism intended to underpin or stabilize access to credit. In its broadest sense, it refers to a baseline credit facility or credit floor that lenders commit to provide to borrowers, potentially funded by a public or private risk-sharing arrangement. The term has appeared mainly in Nordic fintech and policy blogs and is not yet established in formal regulatory terminology or most academic literature.

The etymology derives from the Norwegian word kreditt (credit) combined with a coined suffix used in technical discourse to mark a specialized concept. Its usage varies, and there is no single universally accepted definition.

In principle, kredittasolle could take the form of a capped or guaranteed line of credit that remains accessible during adverse conditions, with terms adjusted by borrower performance or macroeconomic indicators.
