Koralliriutoissa
Koralliriutoissa, or coral reefs, are complex and diverse underwater ecosystems found primarily in warm, shallow ocean waters. These ecosystems are characterized by the growth of coral, which are marine invertebrates belonging to the class Anthozoa. Corals form symbiotic relationships with photosynthetic algae called zooxanthellae, which provide them with nutrients and contribute to the vibrant colors seen in many reefs.
Coral reefs are often referred to as the "rainforests of the sea" due to their high biodiversity.
Unfortunately, coral reefs face significant threats from human activities. Climate change, ocean acidification, pollution, and overfishing
Conservation efforts aim to mitigate these threats through sustainable fishing practices, marine protected areas, and global
