Kolonialismis

Kolonialismis is a practice or policy of control by one power over a dependent area or people. It involves the establishment of settlements in a territory and the subjugation of its indigenous population. Historically, colonial powers have sought to extract resources, expand their markets, and spread their political and cultural influence.

The motivations behind colonialism have varied. Economic factors, such as the pursuit of raw materials and new trade routes, were often primary drivers.
