Klagemulighet

Klagemulighet is the right to challenge a decision made by public authorities. It encompasses filing a complaint or appeal to a higher administrative body or to the judiciary. The concept, used in Norwegian and Danish administrative law, serves to ensure legality, fairness, and accountability in how laws are applied.

Klagemulighet typically covers decisions in areas such as social welfare, taxation, planning and building permits, immigration, education, licensing, and procurement.
