Kitkakuluttumaa
Kitkakuluttumaa, also known as friction wear, is a process of material loss that occurs when two surfaces slide or roll against each other. This loss is a direct consequence of the forces generated by friction. When surfaces move, microscopic irregularities on each surface, known as asperities, come into contact and interact. These interactions can lead to several mechanisms of wear, including adhesion, abrasion, fatigue, and surface deformation.
