Khuzestan
Khuzestan is a province in southwestern Iran, located on the Persian Gulf. It is bordered by Iraq to the west, Ilam and Lorestan provinces to the north, Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari and Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad provinces to the east, and Bushehr province to the south. The provincial capital is Ahvaz, and other major cities include Abadan, Khorramshahr, and Dezful.
